"Cailey is swimming close to the bottom of the ocean, looking for a volleyball that she'd dropped. However, she find a genie's lamp sticking up out of the sand instead. She picks up the lamp, rubs it, summons the genie- but as it turns out, the genie isn't too keen on granting wishes. Instead, she uses her magic to hypnotize Cailey (maybe with a crystal ball with a spiral spinning inside of it, or just a typical stopwatch on a chain?) and switch places with her. Cailey becomes a genie, hypnotized into granting the former genie's wishes, and the genie becomes a mermaid."
